Colorado Springs, Colorado – August 1, 2012 – Springs Fabrication, the premier resource for the design and manufacture of engineered metal products, is continuing to invest in it’s large machining capability by installing a new bridge mill.  The Chevalier FVM 4026DC, heavy duty double column bridge mill, has travels of 161” in the X axis, 102” in the Y axis and 40.5” in the Z axis.  A 2-speed, 6000 rpm geared head with a (90 degree) right angle head attachment extends the capability of the mill.  The mill is expected to be commissioned by September.
